Its not your job to diagnose your vestibular disorder

It's not your Job to diagnose your Vestibular Disorder

Author: Cheryl Wylie, PT

Social media is amazing - it connects people worldwide and provides a platform for us to share our lives, our passions, and information.

In this vestibular social media world it also connects people together with similar disorders, help to validate what you're feeling and provide a great platform for learning.

But sometimes it can also create a lot of confusion, questions, and a feeling of just being lost when you don't have a diagnosis.

So I want you to remember this:

It's not your job to figure out your vestibular diagnosis!

Don't put that on yourself! This is what we are here for!

Instead I recommend you use social media to:

  • Help you pick up on tips that can be impactful for you and your symptoms

  • Be aware of vestibular disorders and know when to reach out and who to reach out to

  • Allow you to follow people who are inspiring to you or make you happy

  • And to share your own journey as you never know who is needing to hear your story right now!

xoxo - Cheryl
